This is a charming story about the Willow family and their discover of a talking Hamster in their new home. The hamster tells the children of the house that they can have one "Hamster Wish." While the children are making their decision, Celia accidentally blurts out a wish. That wish was to become "BIG" like her brothers and sisters. She got her wish, but instead of being a big person, she is turned into a BIG hamster. She didn't want to become a Furry hairball.....................
The story becomes one fun adventure after another with the siblings trying to cover up this problem and find the Great Hamster before the day is over to change Celia back to herself. How are the siblings able to fix things before she is trapped as a hamster forever? You will need to read this book to find out.
My favorite part was when Celia accidentally blurted out her wish and was turned into a Gigantic Hamster. Can you imagine what that would be like? I had a hamster one time and believe me, I don't think I would like to live as one.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves animals and magic. It is also funny too!
